The verdict
Born in Kitchener and raised in the basketball hotbed of Ontario, this Denver Nuggets point guard helped bring Canada its first NBA championship in 2023. Proudly reps Canada on the international stage and has never been shy about his roots — the kind of player who makes Canadians wake up at ungodly hours to watch playoff games.
