The verdict
Born in Ashern, Manitoba, and raised on the nearby Dog Creek First Nation reserve, Adam Beach became one of the most prominent Indigenous Canadian actors in Hollywood — Smoke Signals, Flags of Our Fathers, Windtalkers. He has spent his career making sure Indigenous Canadian stories reach the biggest screens possible. Manitoba's. Canada's. Full stop.
