Fun fact
She joined Saturday Night Live's season 51 cast in 2025, and later won a Canadian Screen Award for Davey & Jonesie's Locker — arriving at SNL with a real career already behind her rather than the usual improv-theatre route most cast members take.
The verdict
Born and raised in Barrie, Ontario, and one of the more inventive internet-sketch-comedy success stories of her generation — Shanice on What We Do in the Shadows led straight into a Canadian Screen Award-nominated turn in I Like Movies, before SNL made her a season 51 cast member. Born, raised, five points.
