The verdict
The Hawk started touring Canada in 1958 and made it official as a permanent resident in 1964, building a legendary career in Toronto's Yonge Street bars and becoming godfather to The Band. He spent nearly six decades calling Ontario home, making him more Canadian than half the people born there.
