The verdict

Born in London, England, to Canadian parents — Donald Sutherland from Saint John, New Brunswick, and actress Shirley Douglas — Kiefer Sutherland grew up in Canada and holds Canadian citizenship. Jack Bauer may have saved America every single season, but the man underneath was entirely Canadian. Born abroad, raised here, certified.
