Fun fact

Schitt's Creek became the first series ever to win a Primetime Emmy in all four major comedy acting categories in a single year — Levy won for writing, directing, producing, and acting on the same show, the same season.

The verdict

Born in Toronto to Eugene Levy and Deborah Divine, and grew up to co-create, write, direct, and star in Schitt's Creek with his own father — a show shot largely at Pinewood Toronto Studios that swept the Emmys and somehow made a fictional motel town feel like the whole country. Both parents Canadian, born, raised, and unmistakably the family business. Five points.
