Fun fact
He honed his improv chops with Vancouver's TheatreSports League and Toronto's Second City years before Whose Line Is It Anyway? ever cast him.
The verdict
Born in Kilmarnock, Scotland, but the family emigrated to Canada when he was seven — Montreal first, then Vancouver, where he trained with TheatreSports and Toronto's Second City before Whose Line made him internationally known. Raised here, citizen, lived and worked here: three points, Ya No Ya.
